Solutions for managed airspace

Two platforms covering the full lifecycle of low-altitude airspace operations.

Platform
MAIA

The Digital Core of Connected Airspace

MAIA provides the digital foundation for coordinated and secure lower airspace operations, supporting both Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) and U-space Service Providers (USSPs). It unifies stakeholders, systems, and data into a trusted, shared environment enabling safe and scalable integration of both crewed and uncrewed aviation.

Serving the Airspace Ecosystem
  • Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs)
  • Common Information Service Providers (CISPs)
  • U-space Service Providers (USSPs)
  • UTM Software and Service Providers

Key Benefits
01

Unified Digital Source

A single, authoritative source of airspace data for ANSPs and USSPs — ensuring consistency, trust, and shared situational awareness across the ecosystem.

Unified Digital Source
02

Comprehensive Operational Visibility

A complete, real-time view of both cooperative and non-cooperative traffic — enabling informed decision-making across ATM and U-space environments.

Comprehensive Operational Visibility
03

Seamless Airspace Integration

Smooth interoperability between traditional ATM systems and U-space services — supporting scalable drone operations within controlled and uncontrolled airspace.

Seamless Airspace Integration
04

Aviation-Grade Compliance

Designed to meet regulatory requirements for both ATM and U-space frameworks — exceeding current standards and supporting future roadmap evolution.

Aviation-Grade Compliance
Use case

Who can use the solution? How to use it?

MAIA serves regulators, infrastructure operators and platform providers who need to harmonise classical ATM and U-space operations under a single shared, auditable picture. Deployed where fragmented data, manual coordination or regulatory gaps slow down safe airspace integration.

Integrated Information Platform for Low-Altitude Airspace

An innovative platform for low-altitude airspace management with full operational control. Connects all participants and data flows into a unified digital environment, providing commanders with real-time situational awareness and full control over coordinated deployment of unmanned and manned systems.

Key Benefits
01

Context-driven access control

Authorization adapts to mission context, geofence, time and threat level — granting only the access required for current operations.

Context-driven access control
02

Robust interoperability

Standardised protocols and adapters for ATM, ADS-B, MIL-STD and U-space data sources — cross-domain integration without proprietary gateways.

Robust interoperability
03

Distributed architecture

Edge-deployable nodes with regional autonomy and synchronisation — operations continue when uplinks degrade.

Distributed architecture
04

Highly scalable deployment

Linear scaling from local airspace to nationwide coverage — same platform, capacity tuned to mission scope.

CERTIFLIGHT

FLIGHT RECORD · TRUSTED DATA · SMART CONTRACT

CERTIFLIGHT delivers a reliable solution for the management, monitoring and certification of drone flights in line with European regulation. It enables organisations to provably document every flight and ensure compliance with the applicable rules.

UpVision contributes to validating the whole solution and defining its use cases, building a trusted digital flight record based on blockchain and Galileo OSNMA. The verified data can serve security applications and provide a foundation for audit, reporting and incident resolution — letting operators safely scale their drone operations and minimise regulatory risk.

Objectives
  • Ensure compliance with U-space and aviation legislation
  • Provide a verifiable record of each flight
  • Simplify audit, reporting and operations oversight
  • Support safe scaling of drone services
Technology
  • Galileo OSNMA anti-spoofing and blockchain-backed trusted data
  • Real-time tracking and recording of flight telemetry
  • Tamper-resistant data layer
  • Digital platform for flight management and validation
Impact
  • Lower regulatory and operational risk
  • Higher trust with customers and partners
  • Readiness for U-space and upcoming standards
  • More efficient fleet and operations management
